Graduation is a special time for our Ragin’ Cajuns and their families. With the excitement surrounding commencement, we compiled our five favorite gift ideas for your graduate below.
Loyalty Fund Membership
When your loved one graduates, they will automatically be welcomed to the UL Lafayette Alumni Association family. Take it one step further by making at least a $50 gift to our Loyalty Fund and give the gift of benefits. With your gift, your new grad will receive premium benefits from us such as access to our home football tailgates, exclusive event invitations and more!
Commencement Roses
Bring a smile to your new grad’s face after he or she walks across the stage with roses! Each semester, roses are sold to graduates of the University through the Commencement Rose Sale. A variety of floral arrangements will be available for purchase at each graduation ceremony. Flowers can also be pre-ordered online, to guarantee your choice of color and will be available for pickup on site the day of the graduation. To retrieve your order, please stop by our booth located conveniently at the entrance to the graduation before the ceremony begins.
Louisiana Ring
Include your Ragin’ Grad in one of our favorite traditions on campus by purchasing their own Louisiana Ring. The University's official ring is designed to embody the spirit of UL Lafayette with different representations of the University and its campus throughout the piece. Imagery includes our fleur-de-lis; cypress and oak trees; the university's seal; and Martin Hall, the main administrative building. Inside each ring is the inscription "heart and hand," the final three words of the university's alma mater.
Commemorative Walk of Honor Brick
Honor a graduate's legacy with a personalized Walk of Honor replica brick paver. Bricks are available for $90 with a stand or $75 without. It's the perfect way to congratulate graduates and commemorate their achievements and pride as UL Lafayette alumni. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association.
