Mid-Winter Fair Rodeo
It's almost time for "the greatest show on dirt!" The Mid-Winter Fair Rodeo is Louisiana's most famous and longest-running rodeo, held annually in January at Blackham Coliseum. The family event features the world's most significant rodeo competitors, livestock, and entertainers. Competitions include bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronco riding, calf and team roping, barrel racing, and bull riding that end in cash prizes for the cowboys and cowgirls competing.
