Alumni President's Council

The Alumni President’s Council is hosting a crawfish boil for all past presidents of the Alumni Association on Friday, April 17, 2020. The boil is from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with crawfish served at 11:30 a.m. The deadline to register is Monday, April 13, 2020. Register here!

Ark-La-Tex Ragin’ Cajun Club

The Ark-La-Tex Ragin' Cajun Club is hosting its Spring Crawfish Boil! Please join us at River City Grille for an evening of Ragin’ Cajun camaraderie and networking! The event is free to attend, with crawfish and other menu items available for purchase. For your convenience, the restaurant accepts cash and most major credit cards.  For current market price on crawfish, please call River City Grille at  (318) 550-5660.

Association of Future Alumni (AFA)

AFA is currently working on expanding the Philanthropy Cord initiative by implementing an early deadline in which students can apply early and get a cord to take graduation pictures. This deadline was February 28, 2020. Students who are interested in the regular deadline for the Philanthropy Cord must apply by April 24, 2020. AFA has also worked on numerous Philanthropy Education seminars in which they’ve taught students the importance of student philanthropy and how much of an impact this money raised makes on the University and themselves. AFA is currently recruiting ambassadors for our 2020-2021 program. They are also selling raffle tickets for our annual spring fundraiser. Raffle tickets are $5 a piece, and three prizes are available. The first-place prize is a parking spot at the Alumni Center for a year, the second-place prize is a $100 gift card to the UL Lafayette Bookstore, and the third-place prize is a $50 gift card to the UL Lafayette Bookstore. The deadline to buy tickets is April 1, 2020, with the drawing to be held on Lagniappe Day at the Student Union on April 3, 2020.

•What Can I Do With My Degree?- March 24 from 6 PM to 7 PM in the Evangeline Art Gallery (UL Lafayette Student Union)

Atlanta Ragin’ Cajun Club

The Atlanta Ragin’ Cajun Club is hosting its 33rd Annual Alumni Crawfish Boil. Help celebrate years of Ragin’ Cajun pride at a party that is anticipated by our UL Lafayette alumni and friends in the Atlanta area. The crawfish boil will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 1:00 pm. – 6:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Waterworks Park. Crawfish and jambalaya will be served, along with hot dogs and hamburgers for those who do not eat seafood. The deadline to register is April 10, 2020. Register here!

College of Liberal Arts Alumni Chapter

The College of Liberal Arts Alumni Chapter hosted an open house at the Edith Garland Dupré Library with UL Lafayette writer in residence, John McNally. The open house took place on January 23, 2020, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. It included a social and program with John McNally and an introduction by Jordan Kellman, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. The open house was held on the third floor, outside of the Ernest J. Gaines Center.

Join the Emerald Coast Ragin’ Cajun Club and the Alumni Association for the COX Diamond Invitational March 6-8, 2020. The weekend will be filled with baseball, fun in the sun, and Ragin’ Cajun spirit. The Emerald Coast Ragin’ Cajun Club will also be hosting a crawfish boil on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Golden Ambassador Society

This year, the Alumni Association is welcoming the Class of 1970 back for their Golden Reunion. Golden Reunion will take place Wednesday, March 13 through Friday, March 15. The cost to attend all events is $140 per person, or you can choose to attend specific events a la carte. Click here for a full schedule of the reunion activities and to register. New Orleans Ragin' Cajun Club

Save the date, New Orleans! The New Orleans Ragin’ Cajun Club will be gathering for a new event, Barre & Brews on Wednesday, March 25. This event includes a 45-minute barre class at Sculpt New Orleans, followed b Happy Hour at The Backyard. Details and registration are coming soon!

The New Orleans Ragin’ Cajun Club is again gathering for the April 1 Louisiana vs. Tulane baseball game at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium at 6:30 p.m. A $5 ticket special has been arranged for all Cajun fans to sit together. Sigma Nu Alumni Chapter

Sigma Nu's Alumni Crawfish Boil is set for Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Sigma Nu House. For more information or to register, contact Michael Boudreaux, Alumni Relations Chairman, at (337) 344-2309. Attendees are asked to RSVP by March 6.

West Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Club

The West Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Club is hosting a tailgate party before the Ragin’ Cajuns take on the McNeese Cowboys on March 10, 2020. The tailgate party will take place from 4:00-6:00 p.m. before the baseball game. This tailgate is free to attend with beverages and snacks provided. The deadline to register is March 6, 2020.
