Spice up your game day with Alumni tailgating updates this season

Football season is right around the corner, which can only mean one thing — tailgating is back! The Alumni Association is excited to bring back tailgating to Cajun Field for every home football game this year. A new year means improvements and additions to bring the best possible experience to our alumni and fans. Here’s what you need to know to get ready to tailgate with us during the 2023 Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football season!

New Tailgate Menu

We’ve decided to spice up our tailgating with a brand-new menu this year! Throughout the season, we’ll be serving a different menu item at each home game including jambalaya, pastalaya, and even chicken and sausage gumbo. Please view our entire tailgate menu to know which offerings will be served at every game. Get ready to bring your appetite!

In addition to new menu offerings, we’ll also be adding new games and activities at our tailgates for the entire family! This even includes the addition of flat-screen TVs under our tent. If you’re looking for the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal, a cold beverage and entertainment — look no further than our tailgate tent in the Soccer/Track facility parking lot on Reinhardt Drive.

Admission and Check-In

We want to ensure everyone is prepared for a smooth check-in process at our tailgate. Admission for our home tailgates is $15 per person, or current Loyalty Fund donors of $50 or more may get in free for the entire season. Beginning July 1, 2023, we’ve updated our Loyalty Fund membership structure. All memberships and benefits, including tailgate access, now run from July 1 through June 30. Make your annual Loyalty Fund gift today to be ready for the first home football game!

If you’re a current Loyalty Fund donor, you can also use the GeauxU app for an even quicker check-in process. Screenshot your Loyalty Fund card in your mobile wallet to breeze through our designated check-in tent and head straight into tailgating. Please remember that Cajun Field is a cashless venue. Payment options for tailgate admission or Loyalty Fund renewals include credit and debit cards, along with Venmo, PayPal, Google Pay and Apply Pay.

Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Football Schedule

Get your calendars ready, Ragin’ Cajuns! There are six home football games this year, and we want to see you at our tailgate for every single one. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the 2023 Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football schedule so you don’t miss out on any of the excitement this season. You can also access your game day tickets through mobile ticketing. Our Alumni Association tailgate tent opens three hours before kickoff at every home football game, and we can’t wait to host our fans for an experience they’re sure to remember!
