Throughout the year, the Alumni Association offers multiple opportunities to sponsor events or programs. Everything from our annual Homecoming events to our Spring Gala. Sponsorship Opportunities
Homecoming events
Each year the Alumni Association plays host to a week's worth of fun and fellowship leading up to Homecoming Day on campus. Alumni, students, and friends in the community come together for a variety of events taking place and show off their Ragin' Cajun pride. Sponsor perks include acknowledgement and signage, distribution of promotional items during events, Alumni Hospitality Tent passes, commemorative Homecoming t-shirts, and more.
Tailgating
The Alumni Association hosts numerous tailgates throughout the year. While the most popular are tailgating parties before home football games, we also occasionally host tailgates before away games for football, baseball and basketball where alumni and friends enjoy Cajun cooking and beverages.
Holiday Socials
The Association hosts Loyalty Fund donors and their families at the Alumni Center during specific holidays. The events include sweet treats and drinks and activities for children such as coloring, family pictures, and games.

Spring Gala
Hosting this event on its given Saturday is one of the highlights of the year for the UL Lafayette Alumni Association and over 400 guests. Proceeds from the evening are dedicated to funding Alumni facilities such as the Alumni Center and the future alumni pavilion at Cajun Field. Spring Gala features both a silent and live auction including a variety of attractive items to bid on such as original artwork, unique gift assortments, travel opportunities and Ragin' Cajuns merchandise. The event offers fine food and entertainment throughout the night as well. With three levels of sponsorship, perks include reserved seating, a private reception with the honoree, sponsor recognition and signage, valet parking and more.

Golden Reunion
The Golden Reunion is an annual event held in conjunction with the spring semester graduation. It is a two-day event during which the Alumni Association honors the graduating class's 50-year graduation anniversary. During the two days, events are planned that bring back the graduating class to campus to relive campus moments, renew friendships and reunite with fellow alumni.
Outstanding Graduate Ceremony
The Outstanding Graduate Award is the highest honor the University bestows upon a student. Students from each academic college and graduate school are chosen as finalists. Past winners, University administration, Alumni council members, and guests of the students are invited to celebrate the Monday before commencement and announce the overall Outstanding Graduate and overall Master's Outstanding Graduate.
