Ragin' Cajuns are taking over Steamboat, Colorado this Mardi Gras! Join UL Lafayette alumni and friends February 22-29 and book your hassle-free travel experience with Backpacker Tours. The trip departs from Baton Rouge on a direct charter flight with no baggage fees. Packages begin at $1,749 per person (rates based on groups of 4).

Included in price:

• Roundtrip charter airfare from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Hayden, Colorado
• Ground transportation to and from Steamboat, Colorado
• Seven (7) nights of lodging
• Lift tickets for five (5) days
• All resort taxes and fees

Not included: Meals, ski clothing, ski/snowboard rental equipment, & ski lessons. Rental equipment & lessons can be added to your package.

FAQ:

What is the age range for this trip? Does the price per person apply to all ages?
We can book a person of any age on this trip, but the price listed is for an adult (anyone over 12). Children 12 and under receive a "kids ski free" discount of about $325 off per child.

If someone does not want five days worth of lift tickets, can they buy less than five?
This package must include at least a 5-day lift ticket.

If someone does not ski, can they still make the trip and would this affect the cost?
They can still attend the trip! We offer a "non-skier" discount to anyone not wanting to ski. This would be about $325 off per person. 

Are there restaurants (bar & grill type) close to all the lodging options?
There are several restaurants in Steamboat. Depending on where you stay will determine how close you are to the restaurants. If someone stays in the base village area, you are in walking distance to restaurants. If you are staying away from the slopes, you are a 5-10 minute drive to the closest restaurants and shops.

Is it ski-in/ski-out?
The starting price is not for a ski-in/ski-out location, but a one-bedroom condo located off the slopes and a short shuttle ride away (5-10 min). We do have the ability to offer ski-in/ski-out options at another rate.
